Cherry Festival Week Hours at City Bike Shop
July 2, 2018, 12:00 am

It's a busy week here in Traverse City! There's non-stop fun with the National Cherry Festival all week long, and this year, the Fourth of July is smack-dab in the middle of everything.

With so much going on, we do adjust our hours this week. We'll have normal hours Monday and Tuesday, but we'll be closed on Wednesday, July 4. We always try to hit the trails and enjoy the holiday friends and family, and we hope all our customers will join us in the woods!

We're back at it Thursday and Friday, but due to the Cherry Festival Parade, we will be closed Saturday, July 7. With so much traffic, we often can't get too much done! Again, it's a great chance to get outside and enjoy the trails.

There's a lot to be excited about after Cherry Festival, too. The next big thing circled on our calendar is the second annual Traverse City Trail Festival presented by Short's Brewing. Riders can choose between racing or tour two unique routes. Both the 40 and 25-mile courses are almost exclusively unmarked singletrack that gets tagged and ribboned just one day a year! There's no better way to learn, explore, and see these trails than by taking on the TCTF.

What other events are you looking forward to this summer?

Thanks for letting us have some time away this week, and make sure you let us know what you need this week while we're in there!

City Bike Shop Does Traverse City Trail Festival!
July 24, 2018, 12:00 am

There were plenty of City Bike Shop Racing jerseys in the woods this past weekend! We had a great turnout in support of Northern Michigan Mountain Bike Association at the Traverse City Trail Festival.
